Dear clients and friends,

I have a big announcement that I am excited to share with you all: Eden Skin Care Studio has closed its doors in Osterville and has merged with Painted Red Nails in their new location in Mashpee!

As some of you know, I have been struggling to balance all that goes into running a successful business with being a mom to three young children. It has been a handful for me to offer the high level of customer service and quality skin care that is so important to me, while at the same time managing a happy home. I have toyed with the idea of closing my business to return to working as an employee, but had so many concerns with that alternative as well. I knew I would need to find a place to work that aligned with all of my ideals in the areas of professionalism, business ethics, quality of skin care services and products, and the attitudes shared by the staff. I am confident that I have finally found the perfect opportunity.

I am happy to share that my two employees, Brenda and Echo, will both be joining the Painted Red Nails team as well. They have been so great to work with and I am thrilled that they will be making this transition with me.

I am especially excited for what this venture has to offer for all of you. In this new location, we will be able to focus on furthering our education and skill sets as estheticians. You’ll also get to enjoy the many added benefits that come with a full team of staff to focus on your customer care.

At Painted Red Nails, the owner, Jessica, and her staff, are passionate about maintaining exceptional quality in all areas of the business. They are committed to the highest level of sanitation and disinfection, the highest quality products and service techniques, and all the details that go into the overall salon experience. Jessica is truly in love with what she does, and it has been a joy working with her through this transition. She is someone I can happily work under and I am so thankful that I can finally focus on offering excellent skin care services in a positive environment, without the distraction and added stress of running a business.

I had the opportunity to attend an intensive training on a holistic skin care method designed and taught by Dr. Haushcka Skin Care that focuses on building the skin’s vitality through nurturing its natural functions. I am really excited about the results that I have been seeing with this method for healing and strengthening the skin as a whole. I am noticing some great changes in my skin personally, including a more healthy radiant glow. I can’t wait to share more about it with you through Painted Red’s offering of the full Dr. Hauschka treatment menu and retail products.

Along with these new services that I am so excited about, Painted Red will also offer the same facial treatments you are accustomed to having at Eden. On their facial menu, you will see the "Express Facial" (Mini Facial), you will also see "Eden’s Organic Facial" (Basic Facial), as well as the "Eden Resurfacing Facial" (Deluxe Resurfacing Facial). I will still be able to use all of the same masks and treatment products I have been using on you all along, if you so desire. You will also find some of your favorite retail products from Eden on Painted Red’s shelves alongside their other amazing lines.

If you have a gift certificate to Eden Skin Care Studio that you have not used yet, please try to use it in the next month. However, if for some reason you are unable to do that, Painted Red Nails will be honoring all gift certificates to Eden for one year. They will be good through June 16, 2012, valid with me only.

I hope I have answered any initial questions that may have come up for you while learning of my big news. If you have any others, don’t hesitate to ask. I want to say a very heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who supported me and helped Eden Skin Care Studio be such a great success. I am looking forward to this new chapter in my life and hope to see you all at Painted Red Nails!
