At Painted Red Nails we are committed to using only the highest quality products and maintaining the best sanitation/disinfection procedures possible in order to offer you a safe and comfortable environment.
For your convenience, we have described our daily sanitation procedures for many of the materials and implements that you come in contact with throughout our services. If you have any questions regarding our sanitation procedures, please do not hesitate to ask.
A disinfectant solution is added to the laundry detergent when washing any towels used in the salon. A new disinfected towel is used for each client.Metal implements:
Metal implements are scrubbed with a clean brush and antibacterial soap, rinsed and placed in a hospital-level disinfectant for a minimum of ten minutes. The disinfectant is changed regularly so that the solution is always a clear blue—indicating it is still effective.
|Pedicure wash tubs:
Pedicure wash tubs are scrubbed with an antibacterial soap, rinsed, sprayed with a hospital-level disinfectant* and left to dry.Basalt stones:
The hot stones used for pedicures are cleansed and soaked in a hospital-level disinfectant* between each use for a minimum of 15 minutes.
|*Our hospital-level disinfectant has been, by state law, registered as an EPA certified antibacterial, antiviral and anti-fungal agent. We understand that for these disinfectants to work properly, they must be strayed on a pre-cleansed surface and allowed to sit for the manufacturer’s suggested amount of time in order to ensure effectiveness against pathogens. We are committed to carefully following this protocol to ensure thorough, proper disinfection.|
